What's Next.

I just finished A Million Miles in a Thousand Years....a book about creating a good life story.  I might be able to call this book a life-changer......I loved it that much.  I'm back from Disneyland and finished my first half marathon well ahead of the sweepers.  I have so much going on in my mind.....the whole experience was darn near perfect and I will blog about it....when it's ready to be blogged about.  Right now, it is fermenting and aging; I wish I had an oak cask for it, maybe one that originally aged Brandy would be nice.

I sit here blogging....feeling a little, let's say "lost" for lack of a better word.  I've been working towards crossing the finish line for over a year and now I've crossed.  I was a little slower than my goal but I wonder if that might not have been the pneumonia set back of last month speaking through my lungs.  Pneumonia and the packed course through Disneyland while I lollygagged and took a few running pictures, which slowed me down a little.

I don't want to be that girl that goes from event to event, never satisfied with destinations.  On the other hand I don't want to be that girl that becomes complacent and let's life slide by unmemorable.  So "What's Next" consumes my thoughts.....I'm letting go of forcing an answer....it will come to me because what I seek is also seeking me.  Zen like? Maybe, but, truth when I allow myself to be quiet and listen....I know I will find what is next for me.

"The reward you get from a story is always less than you thought it would be, and the work is harder than you imagined. The point of a story is never the ending, remember. It's about your character getting molded in the hard work of the middle". Donald Miller - A Million Miles in a Thousand Years

"My character getting molded from the hard work in the middle".....not sure exactly what it will look like but THAT is what's next for me.

Seize the Day!!!
